A weekend in Krakow and Auschwitz

Feel the distinctive atmosphere of the eastern europe. With a large student community and crowded by tourists in the old town, Krakow – the old capital of Poland – is very lively (but relaxed) at any time of the day as it happens with other trendy cities in Europe.

      1. There is an *awesome* place off the main square that has a great vatreiy of salads and veggie items called Chimera that’s next to a store called Oh! Calcutta. It’s on the south end of the square, I think St Anny, but I can’t remember. I think it was 12zl for a full meal (more for the larger combination) one hot portion and three cold salads a great deal and healthy too! 🙂 There’s also a really nice market north of the main square just outside the greenbelt around the Old Town. The Old Town is really easy to walk around, and there are tons of great bars and clubs if you’re into those, especially in and around the New Square in Kazimierz, the old Jewish quarter just south of the Old Town. I was there last July and had a great time! Let me know if you’d like any other tips.

        1. Nice tips Muhammad, thanks! I am sure someone planning to go to Krakow will find it interesting 🙂
